    If you are near the city center, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U2 or U8 from Marienplatz station. Board the train heading towards Messestadt Ost (U2) or Neuperlach Süd (U8). Get off at the stop 'Sendlinger Tor' (approximately 2 stops from Marienplatz). Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the exit on the 'Bayerstraße' side. From there, walk straight onto 'Bayerstraße' for about 5 minutes until you reach 'Theresienstraße'. Turn left onto 'Theresienstraße' and continue straight for another 5 minutes until you reach the Old Botanical Garden located at Sophienstraße 7.
