    From Munich, head to the Munich Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). You can take the U-Bahn (subway) lines U2 or U8 to reach the Hauptbahnhof if you are not already there. Once at the Hauptbahnhof, purchase a ticket for the Bayerische Oberlandbahn (BOB) train to Schliersee. Look for the signs showing the departure platforms. Board the train heading towards 'Schliersee' and enjoy the scenic journey, which takes approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the train schedule in advance as trains may not run frequently.

    Alternatively, from Munich, take the S-Bahn (commuter train) S8 from the Hauptbahnhof to 'Leuchtenbergring'. At Leuchtenbergring, transfer to the S2 train towards 'Ergolding'.
