Walking
If you are in the heart of Haidhausen, you can reach Hofgarten by walking. Head towards the east on Wörthstraße, then turn left onto Pariser Straße. Continue straight until you reach Isarstraße. Cross the street and look for the tram stop 'Isartor'. From here, you can take tram line 19 towards 'Pasing'. After two stops, get off at 'Karlsplatz/Stachus'.

From the 'Karlsplatz/Stachus' tram stop, transfer to U-Bahn line U5. Get on the train heading towards 'Neuperlach Süd'. After two stops, get off at 'Lehelsäule'. From the station, walk towards the Hofgarten which is about a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Widenmayerstraße and follow the signs to Hofgartenstraße 1.

You can also take the bus from Haidhausen. Go to the 'Haidhausen' bus stop and take bus line 54 towards 'München, Giesing'. Get off at 'Odeonsplatz' (about 15 minutes ride). From there, it’s a short walk to Hofgarten: head east on Brienner Straße, then turn left onto Hofgartenstraße. The entrance will be on your right.
