If you're in the heart of Maxvorstadt, you can easily walk to Türkentor. Start at the intersection of Türkenstraße and Barer Straße. Head northeast on Türkenstraße for about 500 meters. You will pass by the beautiful Alte Pinakothek museum on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach Türkentor at Türkenstraße 17. It is located right on the street, and you can’t miss the impressive structure.

If you prefer to take public transport, you can board Tram Line 27 at the 'Karlsplatz (Stachus)' stop. Ride the tram for 2 stops and get off at 'Universität'. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Exit the tram and head east on Ludwigstraße, then turn left onto Türkenstraße. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Türkentor at Türkenstraße 17. A single ticket for the tram costs approximately €2.90.
