Public Transport - Tram
If you are near Nuremberg central station (Hauptbahnhof), take Tram line 9 in the direction of 'Ziegelstein'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Rathaus' station. From there, walk for about 10 minutes. Head southeast on Rathausplatz, continue onto Königstraße. At the end of Königstraße, turn left onto Lessingstraße, and you will find the German Railway Museum on your right at Lessingstraße 6.
Public Transport - Bus
From the main square (Hauptmarkt), take Bus line 36 in the direction of 'Ziegelstein'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Lessingstraße' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk a few steps back towards the intersection, and the German Railway Museum will be directly in front of you at Lessingstraße 6.
Walking
If you are near the Nuremberg Castle (Nürnberger Burg), you can walk to the German Railway Museum. Head northwest on Bärengasse towards Burgstraße, turn left onto Burgstraße, then right onto Kettensteg. Continue straight onto Stadtmauer and follow the path until you reach Lessingstraße. Turn right onto Lessingstraße, and the museum will be on your left at Lessingstraße 6.
