Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head southeast on Bahnhofstraße toward Wundstraße. Continue on this road, and after about 800 meters, you will reach the Plärrer square. From Plärrer, follow the signs toward 'Altstadt' (Old Town) and walk along the Königstraße, which will take you directly into the heart of Nuremberg's historic center. As you walk, you will see various shops and cafés. When you reach the Hauptmarkt square, you will find the Church tower clock right at Hauptmarkt 14, marked by the beautiful architecture of the surrounding area.

• Public Transport

  From Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 in the direction of 'Langwasser Süd'. After just two stops, get off at 'Opernhaus' station. From there, exit the station and walk toward the street 'Bärenschanzstraße'. Follow this street until you reach the junction with 'Lange Gasse'. Turn left onto Lange Gasse and continue straight until you reach Hauptmarkt. The Church tower clock will be on your right at Hauptmarkt 14.

• Walking

  If you are at the Nuremberg Castle (Nürnberger Burg), exit the castle grounds and head down towards the road 'Burgstraße'. Follow 'Burgstraße' until you reach the intersection with 'Königstraße'. Turn left onto Königstraße and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach Hauptmarkt square, where you will see the Church tower clock at Hauptmarkt 14.
