Walking
If you are in the central area of Nuremberg, make your way towards the historic Old Town (Altstadt). From the main train station (Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof), walk towards Königstraße, which is the main pedestrian street. Follow Königstraße until you reach the Hauptmarkt, where you will see the beautiful Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) on your left. From Hauptmarkt, head towards the Kaiserburg (Imperial Castle) which is located on a hill. You will see signs directing you towards the castle. Once you arrive at the castle, you will find the Well House (Brunnenhaus) located within the castle grounds. The Deep Well is situated inside this building. The address is Burg 14, 90403 Nürnberg.

Start at Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the U-Bahn (subway) line U2 in the direction of Röthenbach. Get off at the stop 'Plärrer' and transfer to tram line 8 towards 'Ziegelstein.' Get off at 'Burgstraße' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Kaiserburg (Imperial Castle). Follow the signs to the castle, and you will find the Well House where the Deep Well is located.
