Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head towards the main square (Plärrer). From there, follow the signs towards the Old Town (Altstadt). Continue walking straight along Bahnhofsplatz until you reach the intersection with Königstraße. Turn right onto Königstraße and walk straight until you see the beautiful St. Lorenz Church (Lorenzkirche) on your left. From there, continue straight on Königstraße until you reach the large square, Hauptmarkt. Here, you can see the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). From the Hauptmarkt, head towards the north, crossing the bridge over the river Pegnitz. After crossing the bridge, you will see the Museum Bridge (Museumsbrücke) on your left.

    From Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Langwasser Süd. Get off at the 'Lorenzkirche' station. When you exit the station, you will be right next to St. Lorenz Church (Lorenzkirche). Walk straight along Königstraße, passing by shops and cafes until you reach Hauptmarkt. Once you reach the Hauptmarkt, continue walking north across the bridge over the Pegnitz River. You will find Museum Bridge (Museumsbrücke) on your left side after crossing the bridge.
