Start at the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). Exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstraße. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Königstraße. Turn left onto Königstraße and continue straight until you reach the Hauptmarkt square, where you will find the Nuremberg self-guided walking tour starting point at Hauptmarkt 13, 90403 Nürnberg. This route is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20 minutes on foot.

If you are at the Nuremberg Castle (Nürnberger Burg), exit the castle grounds and walk down the hill towards the city center. Follow the signs for the Altstadt (Old Town) and head towards the Hauptmarkt. The walk is about 800 meters and will take around 10 minutes. You will arrive at Hauptmarkt 13, 90403 Nürnberg, where the self-guided walking tour begins.

From the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds, walk towards the nearest tram stop and take tram line 9 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Plärrer' stop and transfer to tram line 6 or 7 towards 'Hauptbahnhof'. Disembark at 'Hauptbahnhof' and follow the instructions for getting to Hauptmarkt from there. The total travel time will be approximately 30 minutes including walking and tram time.

If you are at the Nuremberg Zoo, exit the zoo and walk towards the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 50 towards the city center and get off at 'Hauptbahnhof'. From there, follow the instructions to Hauptmarkt 13, 90403 Nürnberg. The total journey will take about 30-40 minutes.
