If you prefer public transportation, you can take bus line 9620 from the Oberammergau bus station. Board the bus at the stop labeled 'Oberammergau, Bahnhof' and ride for approximately 5 minutes. Get off at 'Ettal, Abzw. Oberammergau'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk. Head south on Ettaler Str. towards Oberammergau for about 800 meters, and you will find Ammergauer Maxbräu on your left at Ettaler Str. 5. Note that bus tickets cost around €2.20.
