Car
If you're driving, Eltz Castle is located at 56294 Wierschem, Germany. From the center of Palatinate, head towards the A48 motorway. Take the exit towards Cochem, and follow the signs for Moselkern. Once you reach Moselkern, follow the signs for Eltz Castle. Note that you will need to park at the designated parking area, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers from the castle. There is a parking fee of around €2.50 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Eltz Castle using public transportation, take a train from any station in Palatinate to Cochem. Trains are available from major towns like Landau or Neustadt. Once you arrive at Cochem station, take bus line 312 towards Moselkern. Get off at the 'Moselkern' stop. From there, follow the signs to the castle, which is about a 1.5 km walk. Note that you may need to check the bus schedules, as they can vary throughout the day.
