If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the city of Schwerin. Use the address: Lennéstraße 1, 19053 Schwerin. If you are coming from the north, take the A19 motorway and exit at Schwerin (A14). Follow the signs towards the city center. Once in the city, follow signs to 'Schweriner Schloss' which will lead you directly to the castle. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be a fee of around €2-3 per hour.

From major cities like Hamburg or Rostock, you can catch a direct train which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Schwerin Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located at the front of the station. Take bus number 10 or 11 towards 'Schwerin Schloss.' The ride takes approximately 15 minutes and costs about €2.50. Get off at the 'Schloss' stop, and you will be just a short walk from the castle.
