Follow the B321 for about 6 km until you reach the sign for Schweriner Außensee. Turn right onto the local road and follow it until you see the parking area for the lake.

To reach Schweriner Außensee by public transportation, take a train from any major city in Pomerania to Schwerin Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, board bus number 12 towards 'Lankow' and get off at the 'Schweriner Außensee' stop. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
