Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the A19 autobahn. Take the exit toward Berlin and follow the signs for A100. Merge onto A100 and continue until you reach the exit for B96 toward Mitte. Follow B96, which becomes Oranienburger Strasse, and continue until you reach Gendarmenmarkt. Look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. Expect to pay for parking, which may cost around €2-€3 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  For those using public transportation, take a regional train (RE or S-Bahn) to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station). From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U55 towards Brandenburger Tor, which will take about 5 minutes. Get off at the Brandenburger Tor station, then walk approximately 10 minutes to Gendarmenmarkt, where Französischer Dom is located.
