Car
From any location in Pomerania, head towards the A20 autobahn. If you're coming from the north, take the exit toward B106 in the direction of Schwerin. Follow the B106 for approximately 30 km. As you approach Schwerin, continue on the B106 until you reach the city center. Follow signs for 'Schwerin Schloss' to arrive at Lennéstraße 1, where Schwerin Castle is located. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee, typically around €2-€4 per hour.

If you're traveling by public transport, first make your way to the nearest train station that services regional trains in Pomerania. Purchase a ticket to Schwerin Hauptbahnhof (main station). Trains run frequently, and the journey typically takes about 1-2 hours depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Schwerin Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and take bus line 5 or 6 towards 'Schwerin Schloss', which will take you directly to the castle. The bus fare is approximately €2-€3. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop.
