If you are near the Potsdam central station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take bus line 605 towards 'Potsdam, Am Schragen'. Get off at the stop 'Potsdam, Breite Straße'. From there, walk about 200 meters straight down Breite Straße until you reach Breite Str. 28, where the Dampfmaschinenhaus is located.

From the center of Potsdam, you can take tram line 92 from the 'Potsdam, Platz der Einheit' stop. Ride towards 'Potsdam, Bahnhof'. Get off at 'Potsdam, Breite Straße' tram stop. Once you exit the tram, walk about 300 meters down Breite Straße, and you will find the Dampfmaschinenhaus at Breite Str. 28.

If you are in the vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), you can walk to the Dampfmaschinenhaus. Head south on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße until you reach Breite Straße. Turn left on Breite Straße and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. The Dampfmaschinenhaus will be on your right at Breite Str. 28.
