Public Transport
From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the RE1 train towards Brandenburg Hbf. Get off at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station). Once you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs for the S-Bahn (city train) and take the S3, S5, S7, or S9 towards Spandau or Westkreuz. Get off at Friedrichstraße station. From Friedrichstraße, exit the station and walk towards the direction of the Spree River, then head southeast on Friedrichstraße. Turn left onto Unter den Linden, and continue walking straight until you reach Leipziger Platz. The German Spy Museum will be on your right at Leipziger Pl. 9.
Walking
If you are near the city center of Potsdam, start at the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor). Walk towards the north on Straße der Einheit until you reach the bus stop. Take bus 605 towards S Potsdam Griebnitzsee and alight at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. From there, follow the public transport instructions above to reach the German Spy Museum.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental shops in Potsdam. Start at the Sanssouci Park and ride towards the city center, heading along the scenic routes. Follow the signs towards Berlin, which is approximately a 35-minute ride. Once you arrive at Berlin, continue towards Leipziger Platz, where the German Spy Museum is located at 9 Leipziger Pl. You can park your bike at designated bike racks nearby.
