Train
From Potsdam, head to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the S7 S-Bahn train towards Ahrensfelde. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Friedrichstraße station in Berlin. Transfer to the U6 underground line, heading towards Alt-Tegel. After two stops, get off at the Stadtmitte station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk: exit the station, head south on Friedrichstraße, turn left onto Wilhelmstraße, and then right onto Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. The Illuseum Berlin will be on your left at Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9.

From the center of Potsdam, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Bus 605 towards Berlin, Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the Berlin, Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). From there, take the S-Bahn S3, S5, S7, or S9 towards the East. Get off at Friedrichstraße station. Transfer to U6 underground line heading towards Alt-Tegel. After two stops, get off at Stadtmitte station. Exit the station, walk south on Friedrichstraße, turn left on Wilhelmstraße, then right on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. The Illuseum Berlin will be on your left.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Potsdam. Start from the city center and bike towards the Glienicke Bridge (Glienicker Brücke). Cross into Berlin and continue straight onto the Hauptstraße. After about 12 km, follow the signs for the center of Berlin. Once you reach the Unter den Linden boulevard, turn left onto Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. The Illuseum Berlin will be at Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9 on your right.
