From Potsdam central station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde. Get off at the Berlin Alexanderplatz station (about 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Alexanderplatz, transfer to the U-Bahn line U2 (the blue line) towards Pankow. Get off at the station 'Hausvogteiplatz', which is just a few stops away. From Hausvogteiplatz, take a short walk towards Bodestraße. The Neues Museum will be on your right at Bodestraße 1-3.

From Potsdam, you can take bus line 607 to the 'S Potsdam Griebnitzsee' station. From there, transfer to the S7 train heading towards Ahrensfelde. Get off at Berlin Alexanderplatz station (about 30-35 minutes in total). After arriving at Alexanderplatz, walk towards the U-Bahn station and take the U2 line towards Pankow. Get off at 'Hausvogteiplatz', then walk to Bodestraße 1-3, where the Neues Museum is located.
