Public Transport
From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde. Once you arrive at Berlin Alexanderplatz station, switch to the U2 subway line towards Pankow. Get off at the 'Rosenstraße' station. From there, walk towards Klosterstraße, which is approximately a 5-minute walk. Turn left onto Klosterstraße, and you will find the Old City Hall at number 47.
Bus
Take Bus 606 from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof towards 'Berlin, S+U Zoologischer Garten'. Get off at the 'S+U Berlin Hauptbahnhof' stop. From there, walk towards the 'Reichstag' building and take the footpath towards Klosterstraße. It is about a 15-minute walk to reach the Old City Hall at Klosterstraße 47.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental points in Potsdam. Start cycling towards the Glienicker Brücke (Glienicke Bridge) and cross over into Berlin.
