Public Transport
From Potsdam, head to the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the S-Bahn line S7 towards Ahrensfelde. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Friedrichstraße station in Berlin. From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U6. Take the U6 towards Alt-Mariendorf and get off at the stop called Kochstraße. Once you exit the station, walk south on Kochstraße towards Niederkirchnerstraße. Turn right onto Niederkirchnerstraße, and you will find the Topography of Terror at number 8, just a short walk from the station.

If you are near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, which is a popular tourist spot, you can walk to the Topography of Terror. Start at the Brandenburg Gate and head east on Unter den Linden. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Friedrichstraße. Turn left onto Friedrichstraße and walk until you reach the intersection with Kochstraße. Turn right onto Kochstraße and then take a left onto Niederkirchnerstraße. The Topography of Terror will be on your left at number 8.

Bus
From the central Potsdam area, make your way to the Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Board bus line 606 towards S-Bahnhof Griebnitzsee and ride for about 10 minutes. At the Potsdam, Bahnhof stop, transfer to the regional train RE1 towards Brandenburg Hbf. Get off at Berlin Hauptbahnhof after about 30 minutes. From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, take the S-Bahn S3 or S5 to Friedrichstraße station, then transfer to the U6 line towards Alt-Mariendorf and get off at Kochstraße. Walk south on Kochstraße, turn right onto Niederkirchnerstraße, and the Topography of Terror will be at number 8.
