From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde. This train will take you directly to Berlin. After about 30 minutes, get off at Berlin Alexanderplatz station. Once you exit the station, look for signs directing you to the U-Bahn (subway) lines. Take the U2 line towards Pankow. After two stops, get off at U-Bahn station 'Märkisches Museum'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Alexanderufer. Exit the station and head southwest on Märkisches Ufer, then turn left onto Alexanderufer.
