Public Transport
From Potsdam Central Station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take the S7 train towards Ahrensfelde. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the station 'Berlin-Pankow', exit the train and follow the signs for the exit. When you are outside, head south on Schönhauser Allee for about 500 meters until you reach the Berliner Mauerweg (Berlin Wall Path) which is well marked with information signs.
Bus
From Potsdam Central Station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take bus line 606 towards 'Berlin-Buch'. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 'Pankow, Schloßstraße' stop. From there, walk north on Schloßstraße, and then turn left onto Berliner Mauerweg. The path will lead you along the historical Berlin Wall, and it should take about 10 minutes to reach the main section.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Potsdam. Head towards the Berliner Tor and follow the signs to the S-Bahn station. Take the bike path along the river Havel towards Berlin. Follow the signs towards Pankow, and after about 12 kilometers, you will arrive at the Berliner Mauerweg. This ride will take about 50-60 minutes, depending on your speed.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route from Potsdam to Berlin-Pankow. Start from the Sanssouci Park entrance, walk through the park towards the Brandenburg Gate, then take the path leading to the river Havel. Follow the river until you reach the bike path. Continue walking along the path until you reach Berlin-Pankow, which should take approximately 2 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!
