If you are starting from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S7 S-Bahn train towards 'Ahrensfelde' or 'Südkreuz' and get off at 'Berlin Hauptbahnhof'. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the exit. From there, you can walk to the Richard Wagner Monument. Exit the station and head southwest on Invalidenstraße, then turn right onto Tiergartenstraße. The monument will be on your left after a short walk.

From Potsdam, you can take bus 606 from 'Potsdam, Zentrale Omnibusbahnhof' (central bus station) towards 'Potsdam, Griebnitzsee' and get off at 'S Potsdam Griebnitzsee'.
