Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from Rostock Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the bus station. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Linie 1' or 'Linie 5'. Take bus number 1 or 5 heading towards 'Strandstraße'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Mönchentor' stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to your right, and you will see Mönchentor at Strandstraße 98.

Public Transport

From the city center (e.g., from the Rostock Town Hall), walk to the tram stop 'Rathaus'. Take tram line 1 towards 'Lütten Klein' and get off at 'Strandstraße'. After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach Mönchentor at Strandstraße 98.

Walking

If you are near the Rostock University campus, exit the campus and head towards the main road (Universitätsplatz). From there, head south until you reach 'Strandstraße'. Turn left and walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will find Mönchentor at Strandstraße 98, on your right side.

Bicycling

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the city center. Head towards 'Lange Straße', then turn onto 'Kleine Wasserstraße'. Follow this road until you reach 'Strandstraße'. Turn left and continue cycling for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Mönchentor, located at Strandstraße 98.
