If you are starting from the main square of Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Marktplatz), head south towards Herrngasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schmiedgasse. Turn left onto Schmiedgasse. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Plönlein, a picturesque junction where the road splits into two, featuring stunning half-timbered houses.

From the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station, exit and head towards the main road (Bahnhofstraße). Walk straight until you reach the old town gates (Rödertor). Pass through the gate and walk straight along the street (Rödergasse) until you reach the Marktplatz. From the Marktplatz, follow the previous directions to Schmiedgasse and reach Plönlein.

If you are near the Rothenburg ob der Tauber Medieval Crime Museum (Mittelalterliches Kriminalmuseum), exit the museum and walk west on Burggarten. Continue straight, and take the first right onto Schmiedgasse. After a short 5-minute walk, you will arrive at Plönlein.

From the Rothenburg ob der Tauber Christmas Museum (Deutsches Weihnachtsmuseum), head east on the same street. Turn left at the end onto Herrngasse, and then take a right onto Schmiedgasse. Continue for about 5 minutes, and you will find Plönlein at the end of the street.
