If you are starting from the main square (Marktplatz) in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, head east towards the Spitalgasse street. Continue walking down Spitalgasse until you reach the intersection with the Herrngasse street. Turn left onto Herrngasse. Continue straight for about 300 meters, and you will arrive at the Röderbastei, which is located at the eastern edge of the old town.
