If you're traveling by car, head towards Sellin, which is located on the eastern side of Rügen Island. From the main road B196, take the exit towards Sellin and follow the signs. As you approach Sellin, look for signs directing you to Holzfiguren. The exact address is 18586 Sellin. There is parking available near the site, but be aware that parking fees may apply, usually around €1-2 per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a regional train to Binz or Bergen on Rügen. From either station, transfer to a local bus heading to Sellin. The bus lines 20 and 21 frequently serve this route. Once in Sellin, disembark at the Holzfiguren stop, which is directly adjacent to the attraction. The journey may take about 30-45 minutes from Binz, and tickets cost around €2.50-3.00 for a one-way trip.
Walking
If you're already in Sellin and prefer to walk, Holzfiguren is accessible from the main tourist area. Simply head towards the beach promenade and follow it until you reach the intersection with Strandstraße. Turn left onto Strandstraße and continue until you see the signage for Holzfiguren. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
