Car
If you're traveling by car, set your GPS to Billrothstraße 20A, 18528 Bergen auf Rügen. From any starting point in Rügen Island, follow the main roads towards Bergen. The most common route is via B196, which connects various towns on the island. Look for signs directing you to Bergen. Upon reaching the town, turn onto Billrothstraße. The Stadtmuseum is located on your left, and there's some parking available nearby.
Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transport, check the local bus schedules for routes heading to Bergen auf Rügen. Most buses from nearby towns will stop at the Bergen bus station. Once you arrive at the Bergen bus station, exit the bus and walk towards Billrothstraße. It is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head southeast on Bahnhofstraße, then turn left onto Billrothstraße, and the museum will be on your right.
Public Transportation - Train
If you are coming from the mainland, take a train to Bergen auf Rügen. The train station is located in the center of Bergen. After arriving, exit the station, and head southeast on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Billrothstraße, where you will turn left. The Stadtmuseum will be a short walk down on your right side.
