If you're driving from the center of Dortmund, get on the A40 highway from B1. Continue on A40 and follow the signs for A2 toward Oberhausen/Marl. Merge onto A2 and then take exit 8 toward A52 in the direction of Recklinghausen/Nordkirchen. Continue on A52 and then take exit 10 toward Nordkirchen. Follow signs for Nordkirchen and once you reach the town, follow the signs to 'Schloss Nordkirchen'. There is parking available near the castle.

To reach Schloss Nordkirchen via public transport, start by taking a train from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof (main train station) to Nordkirchen. You can take a Regional Express (RE) train that goes directly to Nordkirchen station. Once you arrive at Nordkirchen station, exit the station and walk towards the northwest on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach Schloßstraße, which will lead you directly to Schloss Nordkirchen. The walk should take approximately 20 minutes.
