Getting There

    From the center of Ruhr, head towards the A46 motorway. Follow signs for Hagen and merge onto A46. Continue on A46 for about 30 kilometers and take the exit toward Altena (exit 8). Follow the signs for Altena on B236. Once in Altena, turn left onto Fritz-Thomee-Straße. Altena Castle will be on your right at Fritz-Thomee-Straße 80. There is a parking fee of approximately €2.00 for parking near the castle.
