From the station, you can take bus line 122 towards 'Mülheim, Kaiserstraße' and get off at 'Mülheim, Bf. West'. The walk from the bus stop to the Ruhrpromenade is about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the train station directly to the promenade, which should cost around €10.
