If you're traveling by car, head towards Dortmund. From the A40 motorway, take the exit towards B1/B236 in the direction of Dortmund-Mengede. Continue on B236 and follow the signs for Mengede. After entering Mengede, turn onto Schloßstraße; Schloss Bodelschwingh will be on your left at Schloßstraße 95A. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Schloss Bodelschwingh via public transport, start by taking the U-Bahn (subway) U45 towards Hörde. Get off at the station 'Dortmund-Mengede.' From there, you can either walk for about 20 minutes (1.5 km) heading southwest on Mengeder Straße, then turn left onto Schloßstraße, or take bus line 473 towards 'Schloß Bodelschwingh' and get off directly at the 'Schloß Bodelschwingh' stop.
