There is a parking area available near the viewpoint. Parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Cloef using public transportation, begin by taking a train from Saarbrücken to Merzig (Regional Express or S-Bahn). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Merzig station, transfer to bus line 135 towards Mettlach. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Cloef' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the viewpoint. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for the return trip.

For the more adventurous, consider biking to Cloef. Starting from Saarbrücken, you can follow the Saar Cycle Path (Saar-Radweg) which leads to Mettlach. The ride is scenic and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Mettlach, follow the signs to Cloef, where you can lock your bike at the provided racks near the viewpoint.
