    If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Bad Schandau. Head northwest on S164 toward the B172. Merge onto B172 and continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the town of Jetřichovice in the Czech Republic. Follow the signs for Falkenstein Castle, which is located about 2 kilometers from the town center. There is a parking area near the castle where you can leave your car.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Falkenstein Castle using public transportation, take a train from Dresden to Bad Schandau. From Bad Schandau, take bus number 252 towards Jetřichovice. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jetřichovice stop, follow the signs that direct you towards Falkenstein Castle, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.
