    From the main town of Bad Schandau, take the B172 road towards Sebnitz. Continue on B172 for approximately 10 km until you reach the junction for Hinterhermsdorf. Turn right onto the Lichtenhainer Strasse and follow the signs to Hinterhermsdorf. After entering the village, continue straight until you reach the address An der Kirnitzsch 4, which is the starting point for accessing Kirnitzsch Gorge. There is parking available nearby, but please note that it may incur a small fee.

    If you are starting from Dresden, take the S-Bahn (S1) to Bad Schandau. From Bad Schandau, board the bus number 241 towards Hinterhermsdorf. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Hinterhermsdorf, An der Kirnitzsch'. From there, walk a short distance to An der Kirnitzsch 4 to access Kirnitzsch Gorge. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may vary.
