The final approach to Bastei Bridge by car involves navigating to Lohmen, the nearest village. Use the address 01847 Lohmen for your GPS. From Lohmen, follow the signs to Bastei. There are two main parking options: Parkplatz Bastei, closer to the bridge (approximately 7 euros for 4 hours), and a Park and Ride (P+R) lot further away. If Parkplatz Bastei is full, use the P+R and either walk 3.5km or take the shuttle bus (€1 single, €1.50 round trip). Parking at the closer lot costs around €7 for 4 hours, but can be €12 for the whole day. Be prepared with coins, as card payments may not always be available.
