From Dresden, take the S-Bahn (S1 or S2) direction to Bad Schandau. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Get off at the Bad Schandau station. From there, transfer to bus number 241 heading towards Hřensko. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Hřensko stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Pravčická Archway.

If you are near the Dresden central bus station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof), take bus number 240 towards Hřensko. The journey will take around 50 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop marked 'Hřensko.' From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Pravčická Archway.

For the adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Dresden. Head towards the Elbe River and follow the bike path along the river towards Bad Schandau. This route offers beautiful views and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Bad Schandau, follow the signs to Hřensko. The total distance is approximately 25 km.
