    If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to reach Schloss Sachsenburg is to use the A4 autobahn. From Dresden, head west on the A4 towards Chemnitz. Take exit 66 towards Frankenberg/Erzgeb. (B169). Follow the signs to Frankenberg, and once you arrive in the town, follow the signs to 'Schloss Sachsenburg'. The castle is located at Am Schloß 3, 09669 Frankenberg/Sa. Parking is available near the castle.

    Public Transportation (Train)

    For those using public transport, take a train from major cities like Dresden or Chemnitz to Frankenberg (Erzgeb). From Dresden, take the RE train towards Chemnitz and change at Chemnitz toward the RE train to Frankenberg. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Frankenberg station, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to Schloss Sachsenburg. Just head north on Königstraße, then turn onto Am Schloß, and you will reach the castle.

    Another option is to take a bus from Chemnitz to Frankenberg. Buses frequently run from Chemnitz ZOB (central bus station) to Frankenberg. Once you arrive in Frankenberg, the castle is about a 20-minute walk from the bus station.
