If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Spessart. Take the B8 road heading towards Königstein im Taunus. Follow the B8 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the exit for Königstein. Turn left onto Burgweg, and after about 500 meters, you will find Burgruine Königstein on your right. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a small fee, typically around 2-5 euros for the day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey by taking the regional train (S-Bahn) from your nearest station to Königstein im Taunus. The S4 line connects many towns in the region to Königstein. Once you arrive at Königstein station, exit and head towards the bus stop. Take bus line 26 towards 'Königstein Burgweg'. The bus will take you directly to Burgruine Königstein, with a stop conveniently located near the entrance.
