Getting There

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    If you are near Stuttgart Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn line U5 or U6 towards 'Leinfelden' or 'Filderstadt' respectively. Get off at the 'Schlossplatz' station. From there, walk towards the Schlossplatz (Palace Square) and head towards the southern end, where you will see the Stiftskirche in the distance. It is about a 5-minute walk from the U-Bahn station.

    Find a nearby bus stop and take bus line 42 or 45 towards 'Stuttgart, Hauptbahnhof'. Get off at 'Stuttgart, Schlossplatz' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the Stiftskirche, which is located on Stiftstraße 12, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

    If you are already in the city center, simply walk towards Stiftstraße. Head southeast on Königstraße (the main shopping street) until you reach the intersection with Stiftstraße. Turn left onto Stiftstraße and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The Stiftskirche will be on your right side.
