Public Transport
From Eltville (Rhein) Bahnhof (train station), the castle is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Exit the station and walk north towards the town center. Follow the main road (Bahnhofstraße) until you reach Burgstraße. Turn left onto Burgstraße, and the castle entrance will be on your right. Several bus lines (e.g., 171, 265) also connect the train station to the town center; alight at a stop near Burgstraße to shorten the walk. A single bus fare within Eltville costs approximately €2-4.
Walking
From the Eltville town center (e.g., Marktplatz), walk east along Burgstraße. The castle is located at the end of Burgstraße, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. The route is well-signposted and easy to navigate. Look for the prominent castle tower as a visual guide.
Driving
If driving, navigate to Burgstraße 1, 65343 Eltville am Rhein. Parking is available in the city center, including the Kilianscenter parking garage (Roßpfad 1), which offers free parking for the first 60 minutes and is a 9-minute walk to the castle. Other parking lots are available around the center, but street parking is limited and subject to time restrictions and fees. Parking fees at the Kilianscenter are approximately €1.50 per hour. During summer months, parking at the public outdoor pool (P4) may be limited.
