From Bad Homburg, take Bus 5 towards Saalburg. Alight at the Saalburg Römerkastell stop. From there, follow the signs for Herzbergturm, a walk of approximately 45 minutes uphill through the forest. A single bus fare within the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) costs approximately €3-4.

Drive towards Saalburg on the B456. Parking is available at the Römerkastell Saalburg (€3-5 per day). From the parking area, follow the hiking trails to Herzbergturm, a walk of about 45 minutes. Note that the road after Saalburg is narrow, so drive carefully. Parking at Silberküppel is also an option.

From Bad Homburg city center, follow the hiking trails towards Saalburg and Herzbergturm. The walk to the tower is approximately 8km and takes around 2 hours. Follow signs for Wanderweg Herzbergturm. No costs involved if walking.
