If you are driving, start from the center of Taunus and head towards Frankfurt. Take the A66 highway towards Frankfurt and merge onto A648. Follow signs for Innenstadt/Westend. Exit at B44 and continue on Wiesenstraße. Turn left onto Wilhelmstraße, then right onto Großer Hirschgraben. You will find Goethe House at Großer Hirschgraben 23-25, 60311 Frankfurt am Main. Parking is available in nearby garages, but expect to pay around €2-4 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Goethe House via public transport, take the S-Bahn (S3, S4, S5, or S6) from any station in Taunus towards Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main station). Upon arrival at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the U-Bahn Line U5 or U6 towards Preungesheim or Heerstraße. Get off at the station 'Schweizer Platz'. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Goethe House. Head north on Schweizer Str. and turn left onto Großer Hirschgraben. The house is located at number 23-25. The total cost for a single ticket is approximately €2.80.
