Public Transport
From Angermünde train station, take bus line 497 towards Altkünkendorf. The bus stops directly at the 'Tierpark' stop. The journey takes approximately 5 minutes. Buses run regularly, especially during the park's opening hours. A single VBB ticket for a short trip costs around €2.00.
Walking
From Angermünde town center (e.g., the Markt), the Tierpark is approximately a 25-30 minute walk. Follow the Puschkinallee southwards. The Tierpark is located on the left-hand side of the road. The walk is mostly flat and straightforward.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Angermünde train station or the town center to the Tierpark takes approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The cost is estimated to be between €8-€12.
Driving
From the A11 motorway, take the Joachimsthal/Angermünde exit and follow the B198 towards Angermünde. Once in Angermünde, follow signs for the Tierpark. Limited free parking is available directly at the Tierpark. Alternative parking can be found at Parkplatz Angercenter, Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße 27, a short walk away. Parking fees at Angercenter are approximately €1 per hour.
