Bärnfels Castle: A Ruin with a View

Bärnfels Castle, or Burg Bärnfels in German, stands as a testament to the rich and often turbulent history of the Franconian Switzerland region of Bavaria. Today, the castle ruins are once again owned by the Egloffstein family, whose ancestor is believed to have originally built the castle, creating a tangible link to the castle's distant past.
