Over thousands of years, the Moosbach stream has carved a near-circular basin, called a 'Gumpe,' into the hard gneiss rock. The layered structure of the Arber gneiss is particularly visible here.The surrounding area offers scenic hiking trails through the forest. A narrow path leads around the Hochfall, allowing for a circular hike. Hikers can also enjoy views of the Moosbach stream and the surrounding forest.
