Getting There

Walking
From the Riesloch waterfall parking lot (Rißlochweg 64, 94249 Bodenmais), follow the signs towards the Riesloch Waterfalls. The well-marked trail, approximately 1.5 km long, will take you through the forest to a wooden bridge offering a great view of the falls. Be prepared for a 30-45 minute walk. Parking at the lot costs 8 Euro, and only accepts EC and Credit Card.

Public Transport
Take a train to Bodenmais station. From there, use the local bus towards Arberhochstraße. Get off at the stop closest to the trailhead for Riesloch-Wasserfälle. Check the local bus schedule in advance. From the bus stop, it's about a 20-minute walk to the falls. With the Bodenmais guest card, you can travel free on buses and the forest train throughout the Bayerwald-Ticket area. Otherwise, a single bus fare will typically cost around €2-€3.
