Car

If you're driving from Regensburg, head southwest on the A93 towards Munich. Merge onto the A92 and follow the signs for A9 towards Nuremberg. Continue on A9 for about 90 kilometers until you reach the A3. Merge onto A3 towards Würzburg. Take the exit for B9 towards Bingen and follow the signs for B9. After about 40 kilometers, take the exit towards Niederheimbach (Burg Sooneck). The castle is located at Burg Sooneck, 55413 Niederheimbach. There may be parking available nearby, but check local signs for any fees.

Start your journey by taking a train from Regensburg to Bingen. You can catch a train from Regensburg Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Bingen am Rhein, which usually involves a transfer at Mainz.
