Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Sankt Goar. From the A61 autobahn, take the exit for Sankt Goar and follow the signs to the town center. Once in Sankt Goar, navigate to Ulmenhof 1, which is located near the Rhine river and is the starting point for Section 10 of the Rhine Castles Trail. Parking may be available on the street or in designated parking areas nearby.
Train + Walking
If you prefer public transportation, take a train to Sankt Goar station. Regular services run from major cities in the region. Once you arrive at Sankt Goar station, exit and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs to Ulmenhof 1, which is about a 15-minute walk. The scenic route will take you along the Rhine River, providing beautiful views of the castles along the way.
Bus + Walking
You can also take a bus to Sankt Goar. Check the local bus schedules for routes that connect to Sankt Goar. After getting off at the main bus stop, walk towards Ulmenhof 1, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. As you walk, you’ll pass through charming streets and can enjoy the local atmosphere.
